Dhoni leaves without interacting with media, director apologises

Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who attened the trailer launch of the film "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story" based on his real life, left the event without interacting with the media.

When some journalists questioned the director of the film Neeraj Pandey why Dhoni left without interacting with media, Neeraj said: "That's not my call as you would understand and it's not my place to answer on his behalf also. He is an individual who has his own choices. I don't know what the reason is and you can't ask this question to me because I am the wrong person."

"It should have been informed and I apologise on that behalf," he added.

Dhoni, who was embraced with a packed hall filled with his fans and media, answered some of the questions posed by his fans. But, before media could ask him any questions, he left the event.

"MS Dhoni: The Untold Story" also stars Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla, Rajesh Sharma and Kiara Advani. It is set to release on September 30.
