A disabled woman employed in a private company was stabbed to death here Monday, police said.
Neelam, 40, was killed in Gomtinagar neighbourhood, police said.
Police officer Umesh Bahadur told IANS that the family of Neelam, who worked as a sales woman, suspected that she was killed by their relative Anoop, who was the last person to visit their house before the killing.
The suspect, who works at a mobile phone tower in Hardoi district, over 100 km from here, is absconding, police said.

Neelam lived with her mother Brijrani and sister Indira and her body was discovered by her mother, police said.
The victim's family told police that Anoop was married to Neelam's niece Seema and suspected her of trying to create a rift between him and his wife.
