A court here on Friday fixed April 27 for hearing the bail application of five corporate executives who are accused in the petroleum ministry's documents leak case.

Due to the lawyers' strike in Delhi courts, Additional Sessions Judge Raj Kapoor postponed the hearing of the bail plea for Monday.

The five corporate executives are RIL corporate affairs manager Shailesh Saxena, Jubilant Energy senior executive Subash Chandra, Essar deputy general manager Vinay Kumar, Reliance ADAG deputy general manager Rishi Anand, and Cairns India general manager K.K. Nayak.

The court had fixed to hear on Saturday the bail plea of Virender Kumar, employed as a casual worker in the defence ministry.

Former journalist Santanu Saikia, who runs a web portal, and Prayas Jain, a Melbourne-based energy consultant, were also charge sheeted by Delhi Police in the case on April 18.

The other accused are Lalta Prasad and Rakesh Kumar -- brothers and residents of Delhi, Rajkumar Chaubey, a resident of Ghaziabad, and government employees Asharam and Ishwar Singh.

Police have formally charged 13 people under various sections dealing with cheating, forgery, trespass, theft, common intent and criminal conspiracy.

The provisions of the stringent Official Secrets Act have not been invoked against the accused but further investigation is on.

Delhi Police registered a first information report for the leak of classified documents related to various ministries, including petroleum and natural gas, on February 17.
