Actor Dustin Hoffman has been surgically cured of an undisclosed cancer.
There was no previous report of the 75-year-old falling ill, but Jodi Gottlieb, his representative, has confirmed that he has been cured.
"It was detected early and he has been surgically cured. Dustin is feeling great and is in good health," Gottlieb told people.com.
The Oscar-winner actor will reportedly undergo doctor-recommended preventative treatments to minimise the chance of a recurrence in the years to come.
Gottlieb has declined to disclose further information about Hoffman's cancer or treatments.
