The Election Commission on Thursday announced a re-poll at a polling booth in West Bengal's Ketugram in Bolpur Lok Sabha constituency.
The re-polling will be held on May 12, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
This parliamentary constituency voted in the fourth phase on April 29.
"There is a re-poll announced in booth number 52 in Ketugram. The decision has been taken by the Commission based on the reports of the Returning Officer," Additional Chief Electoral Officer Sanjay Basu told reporters here.
Sources in the Commission revealed that the issue came to notice after a video of rigging in the particular booth went viral on social media. Later, a report was sent by the Returning Officer.
