Singer Ed Sheeran helped rock band Kodaline's Jason Boland get engaged during a performance in front of 80,000 people at Dublin's Croke Park.
The "Thinking out loud" hitmaker welcomed the band's bassist on stage following their support slot at Dublin's Croke Park on Saturday night, where the musician asked his long-term girlfriend Etaoin Corr to marry him in front of 80,000 fans, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Taking to Twitter after his show, Sheeran wrote: "Thank you to Kodaline and Glen Hansard for joining me on stage today to sing some tunes. And congratulations to Jay, what a way to propose! (sic)"
The proposal came just hours after the 24-year-old singer teased the crowd that they were in for a special treat at the concert.
Earlier in the day, he tweeted: "Something planned for tonight you won't expect."
