Eight Indians participating in the IBSF World Snooker Championships here confirmed their spots in the knock-out stage at the conclusion of the league phase.

On the distaff side, Vidya Pillai roared past Roberta Cutajar of Malta 3-0 for her sixth win in as many matches to top the group and join Arantxa Sanchis (5-4), Neena Praveen, who beat Yana Shut of Belaur 3-0 for her fourth win in six outings, Varsha Sanjeev (5-4) and Chitra Magimairajan (6-4), in the knock-out stage.
