Actor Eric Johnson is in talks to play Jack Hyde, the rival of the character Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) in upcoming erotic romantic drama film "Fifty Shades Darker".
The film, directed by James Foley, is a sequel of "Fifty Shades of Grey".
Actors Kim Basinger and Bella Heathcote have also joined the cast, with Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan reprising their roles of Anastasia Steele and Grey, respectively, reports variety.com.
In the book, Hyde plays Steele's new boss, an assistant news editor who falls for her and begins pursuing her, much to Grey's dislike. Hyde will appear in both "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed".
Universal Pictures is planning to shoot "Fifty Shades Darker" and the final part, "Fifty Shades Freed" back-to-back, with the second part set for a release on February 10, 2017.
