Brussels, Nov 17 (IANS/EFE) The European Union (EU) foreign ministers will discuss Monday the possibility of issuing sanctions on Russian and Ukrainian citizens for being involved in the current Ukrainian crisis, without excluding possibility of new economic sanctions against Russia for increasing the number of its soldiers in the conflict area.
The EU Foreign Affairs Council is led for the first time by the new High Representative, Italy's Federica Mogherini.
She will receive Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin to sign an agreement for the planned deployment of an EU Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform in Ukraine on December 1.
The ministers will discuss during the meeting the recent developments in the Ukraine crisis, and provide, at Mogherini's request, their views on what could be done by the EU to advance peace before adopting any conclusions.
