A former employee of a multinational mobile electronics company has been booked for stealing vital secret information and data of the firm, the police said on Monday.
Vikrant, Senior Manager - Information Security, with Samsung India Electronics Pvt Ltd in Sector 43 of upscale Golf Course Road, has lodged a complaint in this regard at the local Sushant Lok police station.
The police have registered a case under Section 66B of the Information & Technology Act, 2000, against Atul Jain, a resident of Delhi's Greater Kailash Part II.
According to the complainant, Jain stole the secret data and information when he was working with the company, and transferred those from his official mail ID to his private mail ID.
