A fire broke out Sunday at a site office of the Rapid Metro Rail here, a fire official said. There were no casualties.
The site office being run in a pre-fabricated container on the Golf Course Road here caught fire Sunday evening. The office was closed as it was Sunday.
Three fire tenders were put into service, and more than a dozen firemen doused the blaze in half an hour.
There was no effect on train services.
The official said an electrical short circuit could be the reason behind the blaze in which documents and files kept in the office were burnt.
