Lazio midfielder Ederson is close to signing Brazilian giants Flamengo, media reported on Tuesday.
Ederson has agreed to terms with the Rio de Janeiro outfit, who are now negotiating with the Italian club to secure a deal before the close of Brazil's transfer window, Xinhua news agency reported.
"Flamengo have been working intensely since the weekend to make the transfer a reality," Brazilian sports portal Lancenet reported.
The 29-year-old has fallen out of favor with Lazio manager Stefano Pioli and made just four appearances for the Biancocelesti last season.
Having begun his career at Brazil's Internacional in 2004, Ederson has also represented Juventude, Nice and Lyon. He has been capped once for Brazil's national team.
