Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Wednesday dubbed Lt. Governor Anil Baijal's formation of a committee for installation of CCTVs in the city as "unconstitutional".
On Tuesday, Baijal had formed a committee to come up with a standard operating procedure for installation, operation and monitoring of CCTVs in the city.
"From media reports we came to know that LG Sir has formed a committee (on CCTVs)... This is wrong, unconstitutional," Sisodia told the media here.
Public Works Department Minister Satyendar Jain would write a letter on Thursday to the Lt. Governor on the issue, he added.
