Four members of the same family were killed Friday when the roof of a house collapsed due to heavy rains in Pakistan's Punjab province.
According to officials, the incident took place in Sargodha area and the dead were members of the same family, Dawn online reported.
The man, his wife and their two children died while a child was severely injured, the officials said.
The floods and landslides from days of heavy monsoon rainshave now claimed at least 264 lives in Pakistan.
In Punjab alone, 184 people have been killed in rain- and flood-related incidents and crops over hundreds of thousands of acres have been damaged.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Thursday said that more than 1.8 million were now affected by the raging torrents.
The floodwaters are moving downstream through Punjab, inundating huge swathes of farmland.
