Infrastructure company GMR Infrastructure on Tuesday said it posted a standalone net loss of Rs 1,519.03 crore for the quarter ending March 31, 2016, compared to a net loss of Rs 262.46 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2014-15.
According to the financial results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company earned a total income of Rs 287.16 crore in the quarter against Rs 174.50 crore in the same period of 2014-15.
Consolidated net loss for the analysed quarter stood at Rs 953.50 crore, rising from Rs 891.90 crore posted in fourth quarter of last fiscal while consolidated total income rose to Rs 3,736.68 crore from Rs 2,912.91 from the year ago quarter.
Standalone annual net loss spiked to Rs 1,518.90 crore for the fiscal from Rs 352.65 crore loss in 2014-15, while consolidated net loss fell to Rs 2,161 crore from Rs 2,733.29 crore in 2014-15.
