A wedding photography seminar and workshop festival here -- titled Silk Inspire 2016 -- will offer an insight into wedding photography in India from October 4-7.
Silk Inspire invites all emerging wedding photographers, and seasoned professionals to learn, interact and network. It will bring together eight of the world's best wedding photographers as photography instructors for the festival.
The festival is organised by Silk photos, a boutique photo-agency which represents a select group of wedding photographers, both stills and motion, specialising in Indian weddings and destination wedding photography.
"These kinds of events are commonly organised in Europe and the US. I am proud to initiate this wave of change in the wedding photography industry. More importantly, in a career of 30 years, it is time to do something new and inspiring," Sephi Bergerson, owner Silk photos, said in a statement.
The first two days will include a session with each instructor, covering overall style, technique, and tips from their photography journey.
The third and fourth day of the fest will offer masterclasses with photographers, and a chance to see him or her in action, while learning in a small group.
There will be six international photographers, and two from India, as speakers and workshop leaders so that participants are able to see the difference in style and approach between photographers, and have an opportunity to interact with professionals that are otherwise difficult to meet in India.
The line-up includes award-winning photographers such as Joseph Radhik and Mahesh Shantaram, Christophe Viseux, Franck Boutonnet, Susana Barbera, Two Mann Studio, Apresh Chavda and Bergerson.
