The Border Security Force (BSF) Sunday seized over a kilo of gold biscuits worth Rs.35 lakh near a border outpost (BOP) in West Bengal's Nadia district, an official press statement said here Monday.
The seizure was made by the BSF troopers from the Banpur BOP.
The gold in the form of 10 biscuits weighing 1.16 kg was found in a polythene bag near the Indo-Bangladesh border. Nobody was arrested in this connection.
The BSF Saturday arrested a man and seized a 1 kg gold bar near Haridaspur outpost in North 24-Parganas.
