Germany coach Joachim Loew has said Spanish coach Pep Guardiola has left his mark on Bayern Munich during his three year tenure at the club.
He added that the criticism Guardiola received for not having won the Champions League is unwarranted, reports Efe.
"They seem unjustified because in these three years Guardiola has done much to improve players in the daily work and led Bayern to a new level," Loew said to newspaper Sueddeutsche Zeitung on Friday.
"Bayern is an example of control, nice game and control of space and all that bears his signature. Guardiola has left his mark on Bayern and the Bundesliga," the coach acknowledged.
Guardiola will be leaving Bayern for Manchester City at the end of the season.
