Adam Shankman, director of "Hairspray" and "Rock of Ages", has checked into a rehab and is reportedly on a road to recovery.
Eonline.com reports that the 49-year-old's representative confirmed the news Monday. "He is currently seeking treatment in a rehabilitation center. His friends and family support him and wish him well on his journey to recovery."
No other details were forthcoming at this time.
Shankman also frequents "So You Think You Can Dance" as a judge and has directed several episodes of "Glee".
