Halep hires coach Ionita

Romanian tennis player Simona Halep confirmed Wednesday that she has parted ways with coach Wim Fissette and chosen compatriot Victor Ionita as the replacement.

Halep enjoyed a historic 2014 that saw her become the highest-ranked Romanian in women's singles history as well as the first Romanian to beat a reigning World No.1, reports Xinhua.
