Hannover 96 defeated Hoffenheim 2-0 in the 15th round of German league action here.
After a scoreless first half on Sunday, Niclas Fullkrug opened the scoring for Hannover in the 59th minute, reports Efe.
With five minutes to go, Martin Harnik netted the second goal for Hannover to secure the home win.
After this win, Hannover is in 10th place, with 22 points, while Hoffenheim holds sixth place, with 23 points.
In the same round, Freiburg beat Koln 4-3 on the road, leaving the home team at the bottom of the Bundesliga standings.
Augsburg will host Hertha Berlin later on Sunday.
