HCL Infosystems reports Rs.7.49 crore standalone loss in Q3

HCL Infosystems on Monday said it posted a standalone net loss of Rs.7.49 crore for the quarter ending December 2015.

On a quarter-on-quarter basis, losses reduced by 87.8 percent in Q3 2015-16 compared to Rs.61.47 crore losses posted in Q3 2014-15.

According to the standalone results posted on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), HCL Infosystems posted an income of Rs.745.3 crore in the quarter under review against Rs.1,015.63 crore posted in the quarter ending December 2014.

Total expenses fell to Rs.746.37 crore in Q3 2015-16 from Rs.1,015.34 crore incurred in the like quarter of 2014-15.

The company reported losses on a consolidated basis as well, it reported a consolidated net loss of Rs.65.71 crore for Q3 2015 - 16 against a loss of Rs.50.82 crore in Q3 2014-15.

Losses rose by Rs.14.89 crore at the rate of 29.29 percent.

Consolidated income fell to Rs.1,146.58 crore from Rs.1,450.52 crore in Q3 2014-15 while the company incurred a total consolidated expenses of Rs.1,184.53 crore in Q3 2015-16 against Rs.1,483.64 crore in the year ago quarter.
