"Thor" star Chris Hemsworth has thanked actor Matt Damon for teaching him how to be "sexy".
Hemsworth has named People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive for 2014, and he believes that it is the advice that he received from Damon that has helped him bag the award, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"I learned everything there is about being sexy from Matt. Thank you Matt and all the other previous intelligent men," he said on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" talk show.
Hemsworth, who accepted his award via video during the show, also paid tribute to his parents for giving him his looks and said that his brother and actor Liam Hemsworth has been very supportive since learning of his new title.
"He's been a real team player for this one. We've been throwing sexy looks back and forth all week," he said.
"My parents, I guess, for putting this together," Hemsworth said when asked who he'd like to thank.
