Rocky Mittal, Publicity Advisor to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, said on Thursday the latter is surrounded by a few corrupt bureaucrats and he will expose them in his songs.

Mittal is a big fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sang songs praising Modi in the last Lok Sabha elections. He was addressing a press conference in Gurugram.

Mittal, who was appointed publicity advisor nearly four months ago, said a few senior IAS officers, who were heading 'cream posts' during the previous Congress regime, have been trying to mislead Khattar for their own interests.

"CM Khattar is honest and innocent but such bureaucrats will not be successful in their 'mission'. I am preparing a list of senior officers having a 'bad image' and will name them publicly," Mittal told IANS after the press conference.

He said that his fight is against corruption.

Mittal also sang two songs in the state's golden jubilee event on November 1 last year but did not take any money. On the other hand, a Bollywood singer was paid Rs 25 lakh for a single song.

Modi was chief guest at the golden jubilee event on November 1, a year-long celebration that started in Haryana which completed 50 years of its formation.

Mittal also said he would soon submit a detailed project report to improve the condition of artists working for the public relations department of the state.
