The national capital experienced another scorching day on Monday with the maximum temperature settling at 43.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, the Met office said.
Met has forecast similar weather on Tuesday.
"There would be mainly clear sky on Tuesday. Haze is likely to occur towards morning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 43 and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Monday's minimum temperature was recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, average for the season, while the humidity oscillated between 60 and 16 percent.
Sunday's maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 42.6 and 27.4 degrees Celsius respectively, each two notches above the season's average.
