Actor Aaron Eckhart, seen as the legendary fictional character Adam Frankenstein in action-fantasy film "I, Frankenstein", believes that the film reflects his childhood.
"You are a teenager, you are unwanted, you are cast out, you think everybody hates you, you know you are ugly and you don't fit in, you are not good enough, and I thought when I was reading this script that, Jesus, this is just like my childhood," Eckhart said in a statement.
"These emotions of being unwanted and how do you survive and how do you find your purpose in life, and how do you find love?" he added.
"I, Frankenstein", inspired by a novel written by Mary Shelly in 1818, is a modern-day adaption of the literary classic that delves into a war between two immortal clans in an ancient city, which shows a 200-year leap to present day, where the immortal creation is still alive.
Directed by Stuart Beattie, the film is distributed by PVR Pictures and PictureWorks, and will release in India Jan 31.
