Reiterating his support to an AAP government, Janata Dal-United (JD-U) legislator Shoaib Iqbal Wednesday said he too has been battling corruption for 20 years.
"Like Kejriwal and his party, I too have been fighting against corruption that prevails in Delhi," Iqbal told the media after meeting Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal at his residence.
He said the AAP, which is set to form a government in Delhi with Congress support, had filled a vacuum. "I am glad about it."
He said JD-U leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was supportive of the AAP.
"Even he (Nitish Kumar) agrees that we have to stop the BJP and support the AAP," Iqbal said.
