Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday said his government was looking to hire other states' police officers in its Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) - a move which could escalate the ongoing war with Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung.

Jung has objected to the Aam Aadmi Party government's decision to deploy Bihar Police officials in the ACB, asserting that the anti-graft wing works under him.

"We are grateful to (Bihar Chief Minister) Nitish Kumar ji for supporting the Delhi government's anti-corruption efforts. We are also in touch with some other states," Kejriwal tweeted.

He also said Delhi Police were yet to send some officials to the ACB.

"We had sought some officers from Delhi Police about a month back. We hope hon'ble LG (Jung) will direct Delhi Police to send them soon," Kejriwal said in another tweet.

"We are fully committed to making Delhi India's first corruption free state. We hope the central government will also support our efforts." he further said.

Jung and Kejriwal are locked in a battle over various administrative issues, the latest being the control of the ACB.
