India lost to New Zealand by 24 runs in the first One-Day International of the five-match series at McLean Park here Sunday.

Chasing 293, India were all out for 268 in 48.4 overs. Virat Kohli's 123 off 111 balls went in vain.

New Zealand made 292 for seven in 50 overs with Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor and Corey Anderson scoring half centuries.
