Boxing India Tuesday named a 16-member contingent for the Nov 13-25 Women's World Boxing Championships, to be held in Jeju islands, South Korea.
The squad comprises of 10 boxers who were selected on the basis of their performance in the Women's National Boxing Championships at Raipur from Oct 11-16.
The contingent: Sarjubala Devi (48 kg), Pinki Rani (51 kg), Meena Kumari Devi Maisnam (54 kg), Pwilao Basumatary (57 kg), Priyanka Choudhary (60 kg), Pavitra (64 kg), Neetu (69 kg), Monica Saun (75 kg), Saweety (81 kg), Kavita (+81 kg), Swatantra Raj Singh (coach), I. Venkateshwara Rao (coach), Sandhya Gurung (coach), Nirmolak Singh (ringside physician), Hema Valecha (physiotherapist), and R. Rajendran (manager).
