Indian killed in UAE road accident
A 79-year-old Indian man in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) died after being hit by a speeding car while he was trying to cross a road.
Krishna Sataya Narayan was hit on Sharjah's Al Taawun Street while taking his grandson to a school bus stop Tuesday, the media reported Wednesday.
While Narayan died on the spot, the child was injured and taken to a hospital by emergency crew and paramedics, according to the Khaleej Times.
Narayan's body was later taken to Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah.
