Indian swimmer Nikita Shailesh Prabhu failed to finish the open water women's 10 km race at the World Championships here on Tuesday.
The race was won by Aurelie Muller of France in an hour, 58 minutes and 4.3 seconds from Dutch Sharon van Rouweldaal. Brazil's Ana Marcela Cunha finished third at the Kazanka Venue.
Out of the 57 entrants, two did not start, two did not finish (including Nikita) while two were out of the time limit.
Nikita was the back right from the start as she was in 55th position at the first split. She was 54th in the second and third splits but failed to finish the race. She had crossed the third split in 2:03:48.
