Infosys subsidiary EdgeVerge Systems would offer banks the world over its flagship financial software product Finacle on Amazon Web Services (AWS), said the IT major on Tuesday.

"Banks the world over can securely leverage Finacle's solution suite with other enterprise applications hosted on the AWS cloud," said the software firm in a statement here.

Banks can use the entire suite or choose specific offerings to go digital for providing their customers world class banking experiences across devices and platforms.

"We believe cloud solutions can change the way banks operate, as they provide agility for banks to innovate within the enterprise and external ecosystem. Along with AWS, we can help banks adopt cloud to cope with customer needs, operational pressures and volatile business demands," said Infosys chief business officer Sanat Rao in the statement.

The flexible pay-per-use model on AWS will allow banks to choose provisioning depending on their business demands. It will also reduce infrastructure and application management costs for clients and help them service their customers on real-time.

"As banks deal with increasing customer expectations, expanding regulatory oversight, competition, threats to information security and scarce resources, we help them innovate faster by combining startup agility with enterprise experience and resources, eliminating technical debt and reducing risk," said Amazon global financial services Vice President Frank Fallon.

As banks can run Finacle's solutions on AWS in development, test and production, the offering will accelerate the process of cloud adoption.

With infrastructure costs, deployment time and efforts reduced, banks will be able take new innovations to market, faster and reliably.

"AWS cloud compliance will also enable customers to understand the robust controls in place to maintain security and data protection," added the statement.
