The driver who rammed his truck into a bus carrying CRPF troopers Wednesday, killing three, is still missing and on the run, police said Thursday.

Three CRPF women troopers died in the accident that happened near the National Law College in Dwarka of west Delhi early Wednesday morning. Police added 17 others who were injured in the accident are recuperating.

The personnel were going to their camp at Jharoda, also in west Delhi.

Police said the truck driver has been identified and a hunt launched to nab him. Four teams of Delhi Police have also been sent to Rajasthan, as they have traced the suspected place of his hiding.

In the accident, assistant sub-inspector Ramkala, 45, head constables Seema, 38, and Saroj, 40, died due to their injuries.

Of the injured troopers, 11 are in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences while six are recuperating in a private hospital in Dwarka, police said.
