A Delhi court Monday granted bail to Mohd. Shakil Aamir, an accused in the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing case.
Additional Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma granted bail to Aamir, considering that most of the arrested co-accused have already got bail.
He was asked to furnish a personal and surety bond of Rs.50,000.
The prosecution opposed his bail, alleging that Aamir projected some "dummy players" as real cricketers of IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He had also falsely claimed that cricketers have been fixed to perform in a certain manner.
Aamir was in judicial custody from Nov 28.

On July 30, Delhi Police filed a chargesheet in the case, alleging that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his aide Chhota Shakeel, who have been controlling the spot- fixing and betting market in cricket in India, were behind the IPL scandal.
The formal set of charges, running into 6,000 pages, named cricketers S. Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan among the 39 accused in the scandal related to IPL-6 held earlier this year.
The accused have been charged with offences of cheating and conspiracy under sections of the Indian Penal Code and provisions of the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
Police said the accused were acting under the command of Dawood and Shakeel.
