The Islamic State terrorist group has executed 91 people between July 29 and this Saturday in various Syrian provinces, the Syrian Human Rights Observatory said.
Of the 91 victims, there were 32 civilians including two women, 39 IS combatants, 11 rebels and at least nine soldiers loyal to the Syrian regime.
All were killed for supposedly "offending God and religion, collaborating with foreign organisations and secret services, practicing witchcraft, cooperating with the (international) coalition of crusaders, or working for the (Syrian) regime."
These 91 victims bring to 3,156 the number of people executed by IS terrorists in the parts of Syria under their control since the terrorist organisation first announced the establishment of a caliphate on June 29, 2014.
A total of 1,841 of those executed were civilians, including 75 under the age of 18, and 95 women.
Depending on the kind of crime for which they were held, they had their throats cut, were shot to death, beheaded, thrown off buildings or burnt alive.
The terrorists have controlled large areas of Iraq and Syria since June 2014 when they declared the conquered territories in the two countries to be a caliphate.
