A late goal by Mailson Alves earned Chennaiyin FC a 1-1 draw against Delhi Dynamos FC in their Indian Super League (ISL) match here on Sunday.
Although Chennaiyin continue to be fourth on the ISL table with 24 points from 14 matches, the draw means they now face a tough battle to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
Kalu Uche gave Delhi the lead from the penalty spot but Alves levelled for the away side with a header.
Delhi dominated the early exchanges and created a few scares in the Chennaiyin FC defence.
