Actor Gautham Karthik, who turned 24 Thursday, is busy shooting for upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy "Vai Raja Vai".
"He celebrated his birthday with family and close friends last (Wednesday) night and joined the crew for shoot this (Thursday) morning. An important scene featuring Gautham has been canned," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Directed by Aishwarya Dhanush, "Vai Raja Vai" went on floors here Thursday. It also features Priya Anand and Satish in important roles.
AGS Entertainment is producing the film, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Meanwhile, Karthik is simultaneously shooting for Tamil films "Sippai" and "Ennamo Yedho".
