The abductors of three-year-old Jahnvi are still untraced, say Delhi police officials. Jahnvi who went missing from India Gate last Sunday was recovered Oct 5.
"We are trying to talk to Jahnvi and corroborate the sequence of the incident to reach to the abductors," a said a police officer, who did not wish to be named.
Jahnvi was recovered late Sunday evening after a student, identified as Dhirendra, spotted her roaming in Janakpuri area in west Delhi. Dhirendra called police and also her uncle, whose contact number was written on a placard hanging around her neck.
Her head was shaved but the dress was same which she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
Police said it seemed the girl was not kept at a dirty place after being abducted, and added the child was not beaten up either as no external injury were found on her body.
