Singer James Blunt says he is ready to become a father and wants to take the next step with his new wife Sofia Wellesley.
Having tied the knot with Wellesley just last month, Blunt admits he is already thinking about children as he does not want to miss out on the experience of becoming a parent, reports femalefirst.co.uk
"Having children seems like an amazing thing to do. A lot of my friends and family have done it. It would be a shame not to experience that."
"Failing that, I'll just have to buy a little dog," Blunt said, speaking to Hello magazine.
The couple, who announced their engagement in December last year, began dating in 2012 after Blunt's sister Daisy introduced them.
The duo got married in a small ceremony in Britain last month before heading out to Majorca for a blessing and then to Ibiza to celebrate with friends and family.
