Jammu and Kashmir CM admitted to AIIMS

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was admitted on Thursday to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) following complaint of severe chest pain and fever.

"The Jammu and Kashmir chief minister was admitted to the private ward of the institute today (Thursday) at 12.30 p.m," said Amit Gupta, spokesperson of the hospital.

He stated that Sayeed was was under observation by a team of doctors from the department of medicine, cardiology and endocrinology.

The doctors will carry out some tests to know the cause. "At present his condition is absolutely stable except for a little fever," said Gupta.
