AIADMK general secretary and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa on Wednesday ordered the dismissal of legislator Pazha Karuppaiah from the basic membership of the party.
In a statement issued on Wednesday night, Jayalalithaa charged Karuppaiah with acting against the party's principles and defaming the party.
She urged party members not to have any truck with Karuppaiah elected from the Harbour constituency.
