A 15-year-old girl trafficked from Jharkhand was rescued from a house in a posh locality at Gurgaon, police said Monday.
The minor was employed as a domestic help. The Delhi Police Crime Branch received a tip-off Sunday that a girl has been trafficked from Jharkahnd and employed as a domestic help in a house of Gurgaon sector 45, Haryana.
A joint teams of Delhi and Gurgaon police conducted a raid and rescued the girl.
According to Additional Commissioner of Police Ravindra Yadav, two people, identified as Sushma and Raju, who run a placement agency, brought the girl to Delhi.
