Actor Joe Manganiello has joined the cast of action military drama series "Six", which follows the brotherhood of Navy SEAL Team Six.
Manganiello, who is married to actress Sofia Vergara, will play Rip Taggart, a one-time leader of the SEAL Team Six squad who now patrols an African village to protect its residents from Boko Haram, reports variety.com.
The eight-episode drama will also star Barry Sloane Dominic Adams, Edwin Hodge, Kyle Schmidt and Juan Pablo Raba.
William Boyles and military special operations veteran David Boyles are writing the series hailing from A+E Studios and the Weinstein Company.
