Pop star Justin Bieber has announced his retirement from music.
"My beloved beliebers I'm officially retiring," Bieber tweeted Tuesday, reports mirror.co.uk.
The 19-year-old then said that being a belieber is actually a "lifestyle".
"The media talks a lot about me. They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I'm never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle," he added.
He also wished his fans Merry Christams and said: "Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ. Merry Christmas. I'm here forever."
Earleir this month, the "Boyfriend" singer told a radio station that he is planning to take a break from his music career as he wants his talent to "mature".
"After the new album, I'm actually retiring, man. I'm retiring. I want to grow as an artist and I'm taking a step out, I want my music to mature," he said.
