Kannada superstar Shivrajkumar was on Tuesday rushed to a private hospital here after he complained of chest pain, a source said.
Shivanna, as he's fondly called by fans, was working out in the gym when he collapsed. He is 54.
"The gym manager informed Shivrajkumar's wife Geetha, who immediately rushed him to Columbus Hospital here. The doctors reported that he may have suffered a mild heart attack," a source told IANS.
Shivrajkumar, son of legendary Kannada actor Rajkumar, was later shifted to Mallya Hospital.
"Initial reports revealed that he has two blockages in the artery, and they're considering performing angioplasty," the source said.
The source added that Shivrajkumar will be kept under observation in the hospital for the next two days.
The actor has been shooting for Ram Gopal Varma's bilingual film "Killing Veerappan".
