Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is targeting to take the Harambee Stars national team to the top 20 ranking in its 10-year strategic plan.

According to the FKF's plan, Kenya should be placed 16th in the world by 2022, reports Xinhua.

The East African nation remained static at 123rd position in the rankings released by FIFA Thursday as the national team crashed out of the 2014 World Cup qualification following a 0-1 home defeat to continental champions Nigeria and subsequent 2-2 draw away to Malawi in June.
