Konica Minolta launches new business printer series in India

Adding to its existing product lines, Japanese technology company Konica Minolta on Friday launched its new series of colour and monochrome business printers in India.

Ideal for small-to medium-sized business environments, the new models are compact and lightweight with one touch function buttons, enabling printing from anywhere with the most advanced wireless, mobile and cloud computing.

The new Multi-functional Products (MFP) series offers print, copy, scan and fax in all models.

"For the competitive business world, MFPs and production printers are now part of packaged solution that facilitates value added services, in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, improved and optimisation," Yuji Nakata, managing director, Konica Minolta, said in a statement.

The printers have the company's "INFO-Palette" design for multi-touch functionality to increase productivity, overall versatility and energy savings.

Konica Minolta also launched bizhub PRO 1100 monochrome production printer. It has maximum paper capacity of 9,000 sheets.

Nearly 51 percent of MFPs' main body is made by recycled materials, the company said.
