The third instalment in the "Kung Fu Panda" franchise has struck gold at the Indian box office by raking in Rs.32 crore since its release in the country.
According to Fox Star Studios, "Kung Fu Panda 3", which released in India on April 1, is the highest grossing animated film of all time in India.
"The film has recorded a whopping box office figure of Rs.32 crore in India so far. The film is unanimously cherished by not only kids but also by adults, making it one of the biggest family entertainers. It's also the highest grosser of all times, making Po one of the most loved characters in India," read a statement from Fox Star Studios.
Directed by Alessandro Carloni and Jennifer Yuh, the film features the voices of Jack Black, Bryan Cranston and Dustin Hoffman.
