Singer Lady Gaga boosted the confidence of One Direction band members after some people booed them at a music award function.
It incident took place when Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne lifted the trophy for best song of the summer at the MTV Video Music Awards.
According to mirror.co.uk, Gaga spoke to them backstage and said, "Don't you dare let those people boo you. If I did hear what I heard out there, I just want to tell you that you deserve every bit of success that you have."
"I want to leave right now. I don't want to stay anymore because I don't want to be in a room where people are booing," she added.
